RoofLeakCheck is a small, independent UK homeowner information project. It makes roof problems easier to describe and the next conversation with a tradesperson easier to start.
What the checker does
Our free tool asks a few basic questions about visible symptoms and the type of roof. It offers general possibilities, safe observations and links to relevant reading. It does not inspect your home, confirm a defect or select a particular contractor.
What we don't do
We are not roofing contractors, surveyors or a professional inspection service. We don't certify tradespeople, diagnose roof faults remotely or guarantee that a quote will be available.
How the site is funded
If you choose to request a quotation, the MyJobQuote form is provided and handled by MyJobQuote. RoofLeakCheck may earn a commission when a qualifying enquiry is generated. This does not change the information shown by the checker, and reading the site does not require a quotation.
Safety and accuracy
We use accessible homeowner explanations and refer readers to independent safety guidance such as the HSE's advice on roof work. Roof work can be dangerous. Please do not climb onto a roof, use an unsecured ladder or approach a potentially unstable ceiling to check a leak.
