Your details stay with the quote provider.
We designed the free checker without account registration or our own customer-enquiry database.
The free roof checker
Your answers about the roof problem are used in your browser to display a suggested next step. We do not run our own database or collect your name, address, phone number or email as part of the checker. When you follow the link to the quotation page, a few non-personal choices (such as “gutter” or “roof repair”) may be included in the URL to prepare a relevant description. Avoid entering personal details into any optional description outside MyJobQuote's form.
MyJobQuote quote forms
If you decide to load the embedded form, it is served by MyJobQuote.co.uk. You enter your job description, postcode and contact details directly into that third-party form. MyJobQuote is responsible for how the information you submit is used and for applicable consent and privacy notices. You can review their website and privacy information before continuing.
Third-party requests and cookies
The MyJobQuote form is only loaded after you select the button to continue to quotes. The embedded provider may use cookies or other tracking technologies. You can choose not to load the third-party form and still read all of RoofLeakCheck's guides. We do not currently load a third-party analytics or advertising script ourselves.
Hosting and technical logs
Like most websites, our hosting provider may process technical information such as IP addresses and browser requests for security, delivery and troubleshooting. We do not use this information to identify visitors to the checker.
Affiliate disclosure
Some links and the embedded MyJobQuote form are affiliate referrals. We may receive a commission when a qualifying quotation enquiry is submitted. There is no charge from RoofLeakCheck for using the checker or reading our guides. Any prices or services are provided by the relevant third party.

Photograph hosting
Our guide photographs are supplied by Wikimedia Commons. Loading those images can make a normal request from your browser to Wikimedia’s servers, which may receive technical information such as your IP address. See our photo credits page for sources and licence details.
